Was in South Padre Island last year and watched 2 awnings literally get ripped off the rigs. They tied down their awnings and a front came through and in seconds they were gone. Mine was open but got it in just in time. When we are done for the night or going out leaving the rig, I always stow the awning. Too easy to put it in or out. To expensive to be lazy.
