If you aren't getting AC out of those vents you have a serious problem. Your air flow is restricted, most likely on the return air side and lack of air flow will result in the unit freezing up in addition to you not getting cool. It could also be an issue with the return air and supply air ducts not being aligned right under the AC unit. Since the rig is new, I'd take it back to the dealer and make them fix it. The exception to this is if your unit is older and has the older style AC unit. In that case, the vent on the bottom of the AC unit can be closed and air then goes down the ducts to those registers.
