The KOA at Rifle is right on the Colorado River.... riverside sites available, some paved with covered picnic tables. The Rifle Falls State Park is an unbelievable side trip, and Colorado National Monument (Near Grand Junction) is well worth a visit is you are on the west side of Colorado.
