I think I would give the new truck a little shake down run and put the 500 or so on before hauling the trailer. You would probably be OK to haul right away but IF something should go wrong (which is highly unlikely) then Ford cannot point at the book and say "well, you didn't follow the written word in the owners bible". I often wonder, if you bought a new Kenworth to pull freight cross country would you have to give it a break-in run....or does a trucker just jump in and get down to business. I think they get to haul'n right away. But if you can give it a break-in run I would do it.
