Ditto here. Open ground at a casino campground in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Saved my butt, got a new (better site) and all was well.
Only drawback I've found is that I don't believe I can connect to a 30 amp circuit when that's all that's available. But I've found a cure for that. I've got a spltter cord that will allow me to plug into two 30 amp circuits or one 30 amp and one 20 amp circuit to get my required 50 amp circuit. This splitter wasn't cheap ($75) but it works great!
