Thanks Charlie, That info will come in handy. We bought a 5 cu. ft. freezer to put in the W/D space, it should arrive this weekend. I was thinking of putting either shelving or a combination of shelving and a closet clothes bar above it for jackets and such. I think I'm also going to relocate the sub-woofer to the space below the TV and use the cabinet for something else.
