National Park Camping, ..
I have camped in two Alabama State Parks and plan on going to the Gulf Islands National Park next month. I have found that all the State parks here in Alabama can accomodate my 2955RL at 31 feet. I asked the "Park Service Ranger" about camping at Gulf Islands and he said that I would require a "type 8 site" and that there were plenty of them there. Desoto State Park here has the same Fall beauty as the Great Smoky Mtn. but is not as crowded. They also have sewer connects that most of your National Parks don't have. .. If you like water and fellowship and a great place for the kids I would suggest Guntersville State Park in North Alabama. Plenty of Montana sites there with sewer hookup. .. Good Camping! ...
