I understand what you are saying, but at least I know what water and what state of cleanliness the ice from our ice maker is being made from. Purchasing bagged ice would be a different matter based on what you are saying. Are there health department inspections for commercial ice makers?? Just curious. Now I will have to do some research on the cleaning of these portable units. Seems like it had something to do with vinegar??? Anybody know??
