This is an old thread I started in 2019, but the problem came up again this past weekend. I did not take out the RV in 2020 due to campgrounds being shut down.
I just took it out this weekend April 23-25 2021. The fridge was working fine all weekend on 120V ELECTRIC power. I have 120V electric power everywhere else. I noticed this morning that the GAS light on the fridge was illuminated. So both the ON and the GAS light were both lit (not blinking). The fridge seemed to be working fine, there was ice cubes in the ice cube tray in the freezer.
But when I shutoff the propane tank, then both the ON and the GAS lights were blinking.
I switched it to OFF then back to AUTO, and just like my original message, after a few seconds both the ON and the GAS lights were blinking (propane tank is shutoff).
So I'm apparently still having intermittent problems with the fridge operating only on 120V ELECTRIC. It worked fine on electric-only for the past 2 days, but stopped working on electric today.
Any suggestions why, and how to fix this?
