Hey Dieselguy, that's an interesting thought. I see what you're talking about with that last shoulder. The two times I've had these rotors off, I've pretty much slammed them on when re-installing on the spindle. And have always made sure to do that "50ft lb" torque thing while spinning and then loosen & finger tight. I've always wondered if they meant finger tight for Conan the Barbarian or Padme from Attack of the Clones. The seal looked okay except for a tiny bit of grease seepage near it. Going to re-assemble tomorrow with new seal and grease.
