On the other side of this coin.... Paying for and Passing a "special test" to tow a potential large vehicle setup,DOES NOT make you a good driver either.
After over 30 years driving a semi safely(over 3 million miles) , and still currently doing it, it is a risk everyday out on the roads. Its not MY driving that scares me it is the other DISTRACTED drivers I fear!!!
FWIW , over the years I have only seen about 10 accidents involving campers of all types total, not a bad track record if you ask me.
