Thanks to Jim Fischer for the reality shot. I think that I poorly explained my reticence about the 50=>30A bone. 50A pedestal connected to Monty connected by 50A anaconda to 50=>30A bone to 75' of 30A cables to common 30A=>50A adapter to 50A Monty panel. The cable could fry before either 50A breaker popped. I did this in a pinch, but made sure that we only ran one power-hungry thing at a time. At the time, I felt that I knew what I was doing, but I don't think I'd do it again.
