My unit has been sitting on the same site for 2 years now. Don't plan on buying TV till late next year as wife's retirement plan is for 2008.
Level the ground at the wheel area as much as possible.
(I actually dug in on 1 side and raise the other side).
Use 2 X 10 X 6 to 8 feel long. Use different tickness as necessary
(I have 1 on one side and 2 on the other).
Then use the rear stabilizer and a trypod on the pin.
That is all you need.
For winter I simply retract the rear jacks and remove the tripod.
Never had a problem with this set up.
