Jason does the CW3 mean you mean you are Army pilot. If so I was 67N2F (UH1 Crew Chief) and 67W (Tech Inspector for all Army Aircraft) and retired with 20 years.

Still serving. I was a crew chief on CH47s and an Inspector before I went Warrant.
My best guess on the weight change for the 2016 is the front window is a lot heavier than the fiberglass cap. everything else is the same.
