Power is not the problem, any diesel will pull any Montana. The problem is the ability to carry the pin weight...and the hitch weight, cargo, passengers, full fuel, tools, dogs, etc and not exceed GVWR. Looks like you have your sites on a truck capable of handling all the weight you want to carry. Good luck.
