I bought a 15' 50 amp extension cord when i first started traveling. i've used it a couple of times while traveling and used it every time i hooked up at home until i decided to move the pedestal closer to the rv. 15' is easy to store and gives me more than the length of the rv with regular cord. If i need more than 15' then i probably shouldn't be staying there.
