Don,

Congrats on the new HDTV. I have not taken the HDTV plunge yet, but the prices are getting there. I recently purchased a RCA DVD Recorder/Player. The ability to upscan my DVD's to a higher resolution was a major reason I chose that unit. I know I will be going to HDTV when the prices get right. Anyway, enjoy your new toy!!

Brad,

The LCD TVs will be fine if kept within the temperatures defined for storage. 0 - 140 degrees for mine as I recall. The operational temperature range is tighter. I have had one in my coach for two years with no problem. I don't winterize my coach as it sits in my driveway and I keep a small heater in it to keep it just above freezing. I do bring the TV above 50 degrees before powering on.

Sharon,

I believe you will need to upgrade to a HDTV receiver and will also probably need to get a new dish pointed at a different satellite to get HD from Dishnetwork. Go here for more info. http://www.dishnetwork.com/content/p...hd/index.shtml
