I'm convinced that the Mission tires originally on my 2006 3400RL were made by an old Grandmother in China who went from school to school and collected the used pencil erasers. She then ground them up, added some Elmers Glue, some black dye and made the Mission tires. NOT MICHELIN, but Mission. In a little over 20,000 miles three of the four tires failed. Amen on the desireability of a tire pressure monitor no matter whose tires you have.
