Not sure Ron, our model does not have a slide beneath the awning and we have slide toppers on all five slides. The television that we have, in conjunction with an HD Directv receiver, has a fantastic picture. I totally enjoy watching football games outside, regardless of the weather, and the entertainment center meets all of my expectations. Our set is on a swivel mount which allows for pivoting to minimize bright background influences on the picture. If the outside speakers were intended to function with the television, I have not figured out how to do that, rather I just use the television speakers which are marginally acceptable (and cannot be used to drown out neighbors since they do not play loud enough!!
