Hi Henry,
We had the same problem as your number #1 item. The system kept shutting down and then would tell us it was reconnecting to the BCM. The entire In-Command system had to be replaced with the control panel being hard wired to the mother board. Our system runs and operates great now. We found that our 2016 models were the first generation of the In-Command system and were Bluetoothed. We contacted ASA Electronics, the maker of the system and they replaced it for free under the ASA warranty with the newest version of the In-Command system.
