jimmarf, I would go heavier AND I would go AIR. The TrailerSaver Air Ride Hitch is a very good hitch and will protect your investment over the long haul. There is also AirSafe hitches on the market and perhaps another brand. You will spend premium dollars, maybe you could use some stimulus money for that, but you will get the best ride.....I had a "rigid" hitch first year and it beat the crap out of us.
