Thanks for all the info. Looking at weather reports from different regions that show average high and low temperatures are somehow not the same as hearing about it from all of you. The Rio Grande area really sounds like the best place to be during the cold winter months. I like the term "Winter Texans" much better than Snowbirds. Kinda makes you feel more welcome, and a part of everything. Can't wait to hear about all your goings on this winter. Although we can't be there, we are greatful to have a roof over our heads a nice fireplace to cozy up to this winter. Sure do wonder what it will be like this winter for the poor families who lost everything during the hurricane.
