I didn't want to steal EE & AH's thread but here is what we did.

The new table and chairs ride on the main slide. When it's closed, the table is useable, but the chairs are not, so we prepare the food and eat at the coffee table. I think we actually have a bit more room between the new tabe and stove then we did with the old one, and a lot more useable surface.
Note the space between the plates in the two photos. We can sit 6 at the new table without a leaf.... oh yeah ... we weighed everything going in and out. The whole thing weighs 10 pounds more the the factory table and chairs.
