We are full time. Medicare and Transamerica (through Good Sam group) are my primary and supplemental providers. We get a three month RX supply on the road from Costco and a Kroger affiliate, QFC. This is the same as mail order with the exception of having to pay a $5.00 copay. We find this more to our liking than having to continually change address.
Most routine issues, like med monitoring, can be handled at Urgent Care facilities. We always provide a one page summery of our medical history and current medications to the doctor at each visit. This answers a lot of questions before they are asked. The Urgent Care provider is a good resource for information about a specialist in the area if one is needed.
