I haven't experienced it, but I'd start with checking the unit on the roof to make sure the condensation collection and drain system on the roof isn't plugged. I would have thought the dealership would have, at a minimum, checked that. The unit is going to produce water and there should be a provision on the unit to collect and drain the condensation water off of the AC unit and off the roof. If it doesn't drain properly, it has to go somewhere. Which appears to be the vent and your couch.
