Another tip. We brought the Montana home from the dealer and unhitched in our driveway. I went to open the bedroom slide and CRUNCH. A cabinet door was taken out by the slide. Long story short, I replaced the hinges and fixed some trim on the slide.

After that, we purchased baby lock - catches that attach inside the cabinets and put them on every door in the camper. Later, we attached metal catches on door that came together. We've been using the camper this way ever since. And, we always double check before extending any slide, even if the trailer has not moved.
