Thanks Cal. Other than wanting to make sure the rim could handle 110 psi, that was kind of my point. After 2 years now, I know CW will do absolutely nothing about the tire, but it really irks me that should I have needed that spare on the road, I was risking a blow out with a lower load range tire than is specified on the placard.
I've learned more about trailer tires than I ever wanted to know on this forum, and thanks in no small part, to your expertise. It's great to have this resource.
Now I have 5 new Sailuns, but they are the ones made in Vietnam. Several problems reported here and other places. I've got about 3,000 miles on them and so far, so good. The original ones were made in China and have been just fine. I only replaced them since the rear axle had lost its camber and wore them out.
