Makers may be used as an additive but no additives should ever be used with Makers. There is a law against that.

I do require the use of Makers to run at optimum performance levels. The proper amount is dependent on the days events. Failure to use the additive makes me run rough, backfire and leads to other undesirable combustion events that are harmful to me and the environment.

In my limited diesel experience, five years, I have never been advised or felt the need for fuel additives. Driven in temps from 0 to 100. Have never used them (excluding fuel stabilizer in boats etc) in many more years of gasoline engines. If I wanted to I would and feel good about it!!!
