Hi,

I run the same Xantrex Inverter/Charger and have a 400amp T-fuse.
A 250amp is traveling with us as backup.
The BlueSea devices looked and worked the best for me.

The Fuse shall be as close as possible to your batteries.
Only the + line needs to be fused.

My learning curve during install was how important it is to make you own cables.

Here are a few good links to wiring diagrams which helped my 1 cell brain a lot.
You see that there a different methods wiring from the catastrophic fuse possible.
