Carlson, we use the slickers to avoid those dirt or grease marks the wheels sometimes make on the carpets. They might be worth a try for your purpose. Someone here on MOC made their own from those desk chair pads. You could try that more cheaply than the slickers to see if it solves your problem. Just a thought.
