Tucson is tough. Generally we can find a place at either the Pima Co Fairgrounds or the Voyager. The fairgrounds will kick you out if they have a large event like the Escapade and Voyager sometimes tells you they are full on the phone but find you a spot if you come in in person. Other folks seem to have luck staying in Benson. Our home base is just north of Carlsbad and since it's in the high desert can get cold in the winter. This winter it was warmer there than in Tucson and it snowed on us in Tucson but never in New Mexico.
