Carol, the Quilted Northern says septic safe and it might be ok for true septic tanks. But after flunking the shake test and causing problems in our tank, "septic safe" is no longer good enough for me. It will have to pass the shake test, too.
Clutch, you might consider switching brands before the problems start.
