Way to go Lisa!!! You can DO this, just the people on this site alone is an outstanding support group...:-) I smoked for 38 years...quit on 11-11-01. Just over 5 years now. I am now the reformed smoker from hell...LOL One thing that's interesting is when you walk past people, you automatically know if they're a smoker or not, and sometimes even how long ago they last smoked...LOL I used the patch, but the main thing for me was praying. When that overwhelming urge would hit me...I would look up, say a prayer, and the urge would go away. Just remember....never quit quitting!!! Good luck...
