I just read your post again, one of my faults is not reading carefully. You did say top corner. Never seen or heard of that before, I see how you were amazed at that. Wow.. well, it could be the flexing, I don't see how else other than a defect from the molding of it. Same fix method, and I would go ahead and do the couplers.
