I will actually be adding a wind turbine to my solar setup later this summer. This will basically be a supplement to the solar to provide back up charging during extended overcast periods or at night trying to take advantage of every bit of mother nature. Every little bit helps.

The plan is to use a portable telescoping pole (flag) with a base and a 40 kW/ month turbine. I will update with pics when we start the project.

We are hoping that this combined with our solar will give us all the power we need during our planned extended boondocking in Quartzite during the winter months.
