Mike, I have been considering the laminate. I just can't figure a way to come up with anything for that "apron" or whatever you call it. There is an older HitchHiker here in our park that the owner claims to have put laminate of the slide floor also, but I've never had the opportunity to view it. Perhaps someone else has done this, and will chime in.
