I had the same problem as rohrmann with my 3402rl. Removed rubber cover and screws from metal strip that did not catch aluminum panel. Pushed aluminum panel up so screws would catch and replaced screws and cover then silicone bead. Problem solved. Sure easier than hauling it to a dealer.
