Sweetfire, having lived in a mud dauber area for most of my life I've had those screens on our fifthwheels for the past 11 years with nary a problem. I will not be without them. In our fulltiming we have spent Nov/Dec in some subfreezing weather (for days and days without reaching up to freezing)each of the past three winters. The furnace has run for long periods of time. I don't see that the screens have any significant impact on the ability of the furnace to exhaust or to draw air. And we've had no furnace problems.
