DQDick, don't know why you would say the spring pack comment is untrue. I happened to own a 2500hd duramax SRW & a 3500hd duramax SRW and they are exactly as I stated above..... The tires are well within the ratings...
All too much focus is opinion on this site from people who believe there set up to be best and have likely never ever driven some of the other set ups...
As someone who has driven both the 2500HD srw towing a 3790RD thousands of miles and the 3500hd srw towing the 3790rd thousands of miles I can state there is little to no difference at all other than the 3500hd rides better without a load on it due in part to the spring set up above.... FACT.
