Not saying its right but, We traveled through that bridge/tunnel last October with the fridge on propane and were never asked a thing about it. After getting through it I now understand why you should have it turned off. Traffic, specifically tractor trailers are coming at you at 55mph on a one lane road each direction road in a tunnel. However, if there was a head on collision, it could be real ugly with or without it on.
