I to have the manual Mor-Ryde reel and it doesn't take up much more space than if I stood it up in the basement. The manual rolls the cord up in about 10 seconds. Even in cold conditions the reel does a great job of rolling up the cord.I have a Mor-Ryde tray and the reel is mounted in the tray. If you are tired of tackling the cord then this is the way to go.
