There are some caveats on us turning the business over to our daughter. First we get to continue with the Blue Cross for $25 per week like all the other full time employees (we'll come back and help her in the summer, but the rest of the time we're still on the Board of Directors) until we both qualify for medicare. Second she has to buy the business from us at a greatly reduced cost. Third, as consultants and members of the Board we will get a salary to cover the Blue Cross. From my point of view, if I didn't have the health insurance figured out there wouldn't be a chance of retirement.
