I haven't used that hose carrier on our 5er but just a large green tub from Walmart. I have at least 50 feet of hose when we travel as one CG in Maine, depending on where on a very long site we park, can use a bunch of that length. That tub also holds a bunch of extra fittings as well as a spare Valterra knife valve plus a separate black tank flusher hose. The hoses vary in individual length but a 5 footer often is all that's needed with a 10 or 15 foot length.
