It is always interesting to be able to look in on one of my geocaches that is located on top of Mt Botonie at 6500 ft.
The cache (Ammo can) is located in rocks behind the tree right center in the picture.
The tower in the background supports communications for RCMP, Emergency Services and Forestry.
The camera is located in an old Forestry lookout tower and is the site for the WiFi and Television distribution to the valley and towns below.
This particular camera ices up often in the winter and no picture is visible. But what a sight when it is a clear day after fresh snow and ice has accumulated on the surrounding trees and structures.
