The strut on our 3800RE door tore loose from the top the day after we took delivery from Camping World of Southern Alabama. I didn't know if this was a Keystone installed strut or whether Camping World was the installer...so I fixed it. The bracket over the door frame was secured with the small screws that are used in other places on the montana...an 8/32...and this is not up to the task for this application. I had nice, larger than normal holes in the monty from the strut ripping the bracket off the rig. Had to use BIG screws and drill out the holes in the bracket to make things work. And it wasn't windy at all that day... John
