We too have the Lippert 6-point leveling system and I agree with David (padredw) that it is all in the perception. The only time I notice the movement is when the washer is spinnig a load. Other than that I do not notice it. However, when we first got the trailer we arrived somewhere late at night, set the leveling system to auto-level, and all night long I felt like we were totally rocking. The next morning I realized one set of tires was off the ground by about 2"! Put some lynx levelers under the tires, re-autoleveled and issue was resolved.
As for the tripod we did not have one until we installed the washer in our front cap. It helps with the movement when the washer is spinning but you still feel it.
