The shop actually found a couple of loose connectors that I didn't find, cleaned the contacts and reassembled. Truck works fine now!
Even though they looked for more than half a day, they only charged me for one hour of labor. YAY!
I'll make sure they show me the culprit connectors before I leave the shop in the morning!
