I guess I was not too clear in my first post. I mistakenly typed 3/4 inch u-bolt instead of 5/8 inch. I have assumed that my rig must have 5/8 inch u bolts since they are torqued to 120 lbs according to Dexters manual. I was wondering if 5/8 inch u-bolts have a 3/4 inch nut. I'm going to go under the rig to check this out for the reasons you mentioned. If they are not 5/8 inch then they would be way over stressed!
