First rain since Nov. temps in the 60s. Lake Shasta levels near all time low, since 1945. Warm temps will be back next week. Lived here 54 years, and never seen trees bloom in Dec. Flowers and bulbs are in mid bloom? Not normal for Redding area, a I can attest. Been changing the last few years, and getting dryer. My friends in the fire fighting arena, tell me the Jan calls have already surpassed calls for first few months of last year. My neighbors and I have ran our sprinklers all winter long.
