I know this is an old thread but I'm having the rig cleaned and i'm sitting in it for the first time while they do it (BTW special thanks to the big tree that dumped 4 gallons of sap on my roof in two weeks). After observing the way the slides move and actually watching the slide out roof flex underfoot nobody will ever walk on top of my slide out again. Had to go tell the boss of the crew to stop. Then, I guess he didn't get the message 'cause i had to go out and tell him in a P.C. but yet not so nice way if they do it again they will be asked to leave and never return. They do a great job and have done the rig before but I'll find another crew if they can't follow instructions.

So the answer I'd give to this thread is don't do it. The factory may say it's okay but have somebody walk around on it while you are inside and form your own opinion. It's not worth the risk as far as i'm concerned.
